The next Week the strong St. t'loud team journeyed to Alex and the Oardinals took their second defeat of the season .... In the Homeeoming game Alex lost to their biggest rivals, Glenwood .... Alex took their fourth defeat in a tight elash with VVadena in an 18-6 game .... A high spirited Alex tea111 almost pulled the biggest upset of the year Wl1CIl they played the undefeated Brainerd team .... The tlardinals wound up their football season at Melrose in a hard-fought tie .... This football team was eaptained by Robert Melaas, and at tl1e annual football banquet his brother, George, was ehosen to be his sue- eessor .... Wayne tloykendall received the honor of the year by being eleeted to the Central Eight tlonferenee Team .... The foot- ball eoaehing staff was headed by Mr. Johnson ....
