THE RETURN ING SOLDIER I think it was because I was so sad, I did not see this man across from me. VVhen I looked up, I saw him, khaki-clad, VVith thoughts that turned on things which were to be Would home, which seemed so dear to him before, Still be the same as 'twas three years ago? His job - would it be waiting at the store? And what l1as happened? They all will want to know. The crowd that used to meet downtown was grand.
