The light-footed 8th graders success- fully survived another year of harass- ment initiated by the graduates of 1981. United the classes of 85 and 86 partici- pated throughout the year in activities previously reserved for upperclassmen. With the superb guidance of Ms. Burch- field, the mighty 8th graders displayed their overwhelming spirit while winning the Homecoming float competition. Several school dances, the school ban- ner, and other supply sales earned con- siderable profit forthe class of 85. Class moral was boosted under the leadership of its fine class officers. Truly this year sends the class of 85 off feeling that they are destined to become the great- est class in the history of Patch Ameri- can High School!!!
