Amidst the drizzle, was the last minute decoration of floats and the rush to make the parade by ten that morning. Then came the downpour as the floats began to roll. Every class managed to show their spirit with their banners and floats. At Fri- day's pep rally, the iunior class banner showed the most spirit. The judges chose the 7th and 8th grade float as the best, with the seniors and sophomores taking 2nd and 3rd respectively. The game began at 11:30, put- ting our Patch Panthers against the Ansbach Cougars. In the rain, mud, and lime our play- ers managed to shut-out the Cougars by the score of 38 to 0. The band put on a wonderful halftime show as they plodded in formation through the mud. Then came the moment we all were waiting for, the court was introduced. lt was announced Mike Bell and Cindy Brousseau were chosen King and Queen. At 8:00 o'clock that night it was still raining as the dance started. However, the Panther spirit was never dampened. OOHWOH IW SN .t A LJ
