- ' SSL gl- STUDENTS ENJOY WORKING OUTSIDE OF CLASSROOM CWEP, Cooperative Work Experience, inspired many students to get out of the classroom and to get to practical education on job sites. Ms. Bogandy, the coordinator of the program, first inquired about the interests of the students. She was then able to place the students at a desired job site. Different job locations included: the dispensary, auto body shop, graphics-reproduction, telephone installation and repair, and the facilities engi- neers. 1 X 2. Q l t N! ' JK Pl 'x X - -'tiff P

BEYOND FAITH AND FUN Beyond, which had been called Young Life, is as popular with the young adults, of this school, as it has ever been. With its new name came new counselors: Dick and Julie Mason, and Missy Johnston. These dedicated people along with a few volunteers from the commu- nity helped promote fun and faith at the meetings. Their connection at school is our own Mr. Brandt. The club meetings, on Thursday nights, are open to 9-12th graders. When kids go to meetings, the only thing that they have to do is to be themselves. They sing songs, from a new song book, play games, have skits, and then at the end of the meetings, one of the counselors gives a chat on faith. The fun which is generated from the club is not just limited to Patch, as they go on trips. The trips are as varied as the club with a retreat in fall, ski trips to Winter, a lock-in in the Spring, and bike trips in Summer.
