NHS is a difficult organization to get into because you must have maintained a mini- mum G.P.A. of 3.5 beginning with your Fresh- men year. Then, the school faculty votes on a basis of Leadership, Character, and partici- pation in school activities. NHS does many things for the community. This year they sup- ported a foster child. They prepare and pres- ent the Awards Ceremony in the Spring and help out as ushers during Graduation cermo- nies. BAND - It was a busy year for the Patch High School Bands. The ConcertfMarch- ing Band performed at football games, Winterfest, Neuhausen Fasching Parade, basketball games, our 24-hour Playathon, Spring concert, Graduation, and our Spring Tour to England. The Cadet, Intermediate, and Beginning Bands joined in with in-class concerts, a winter PTSA concert, the Playathon, a spring concert, and basketball pep band. It was a year of fun, hard work, and lots of music. CHORUS - In the hope of raising money for new choral robes, the Concert choir and the Harmony Express made several appearances during the school year. These include Winterfest and Spring Concert, Chapel services and dinners, Christmas Caroling, club Iuncheons, battalion Christ- mas parties, Spring festival, and Gradua- tion. The new black and gold robes will add even more excitement to the perform- ances. -.Xi ..
