ZAHN - - :lndu- The 1981 Wrestling Cheerleaders had to live up to certain expectations since this was the first year Patch has ever had Wrestling Cheerleaders. Cheering on a wrestling season full of happiness and pride were one sophomore, one junior, and two seniors. The cheerleaders this year set traditions for the cheer- leaders to follow. They introduced the 'Spirit Can' at a pep rally early in the year, and they wrote a constitution of rules for future spirit spreaders. How can they help but be terrific when they have such a spirited coach as Mrs. Zahn? As a former cheer- leader, Mrs. Sherry Zahn knew what she was doing coaching our cheerleaders.

Directly from Patch American High School, for basketball sea- son and full of bright and shiny spirit, the basketball cheerlead- ers of 1981 were a tremendous success. Starting off the season with try- outs particularly for spirited and talented basketball fans, was a fine idea. Some true winners were picked. These excited eight girls boosted the ego's of fans and players throughout the season. Whether seniors, jun- iors, or sophomores, the 1981 basketball cheerleaders were full of spirit and pride!
