WOMENS VARSITY BASKETBALL The Women's Varsity basketball team sur- prised alot of their opponents this year with their good teamwork and hustle. This year's team was blessed with height and a lot of speed and also had some very good outside shooters. Like the other Patch teams, they had to overcome the problem of inexperi- ence. Another problem they faced was that of ball-handling. However, with their hustle and excellent defensive play, these small weak- nesses were overshadowed. All team pictures will follow in the Spring supplement.

ZAHN - - :lndu- The 1981 Wrestling Cheerleaders had to live up to certain expectations since this was the first year Patch has ever had Wrestling Cheerleaders. Cheering on a wrestling season full of happiness and pride were one sophomore, one junior, and two seniors. The cheerleaders this year set traditions for the cheer- leaders to follow. They introduced the 'Spirit Can' at a pep rally early in the year, and they wrote a constitution of rules for future spirit spreaders. How can they help but be terrific when they have such a spirited coach as Mrs. Zahn? As a former cheer- leader, Mrs. Sherry Zahn knew what she was doing coaching our cheerleaders.
