MEN'S VARSITY BASKETBALL The Men's Varsity basketball team was very strong this season. Although many of the players had never played together before, hard workouts at lunch and after school quickly molded the team into a successful group. This year's team was one of the tallest in the conference yet was also one of the fastest. The varsity Panthers had 3 scrim- mages, 2 of which they won, to prepare them for their regu- lar season play. Once into the regular season play, the Panthers made all their hard work pay off. N MEN'S J. V. BASKETBALL Keeping up the tradition left by last year's team, the Men's J.V. basketball team had another excellent season. Coached by Bill Brown, the team pounced over their oppo- nents. The team's major strengths were quickness in the guard positions and excel- lent rebounding under the boards. This year's J.V. team was also very versatile in that they could succeed with any combination of play- ers at any time.
