It is time that the reverse of this standing would have a much better appearance in the win-lost column. Our record was a lO- S with S wins. Next year will find most of the Jay Vee regulars of this year taking their proper position on the varsity roster. That means more new material will have to be uncovered to fill the shoes of our boys that will move up the ladder. As we see the final curtain drops on the season lets say that the team was only as successhxl as each and every member involved made it. We did the best job that we could in each and every game regardless of the final scores. off V X as 0 0 00000 A ZX , sans., lst Row H Beale, D Keene, J Seward, D Brown, R Spring, LI Levins 2nd Row G Spring, D Werner, R Foster, R Diemoz, D Snell, R Moore, G Carter, K Balduf, Mr Gardner The 53 54 F F A basketball team was composed of 12 men, incluiing 5 veterans from last year's team Danrur Keene and Gerald Carter were elected co captains e team had a successful season under the guidance of coach "Dud" Brown, winning eleven games and losing two including the overtime loss to Corfu in the playoff game at Attica for the league championship Team Q91 Oakfield Corm Byron-Bergen Pavilion LeRoy Pavilion Oakfield Elba Byron-Berge n LeRoy Corfu Elba Corfu Plgers Games Points Av games Carter Keene Snell Balduf Foster Diemoz Spring Beal Werner Dbore Seward Levine KSKSESGK3 vfsxxxi lst Row 2nd Pow 3rd Pow I Keene, R Trifthauser, Mr Daugherty Koester, P Ilg, F Walte, D Townsend, G Wolff, C Stoclfschlaeder, R Werner, Moore, R Foster lor e, D ferner, E Humel, J oeward, R.
