Norm Femling had 12 points and Russ Dunne had 11 to lead the Papermakers. Zurfluh of Port was high scorer for the evening with eighteen points. NOVEMBER 22: Rhinelander 56, Nekoosa 50 - Playing a listless game, Nekoosa dropped its second conference game to Rhinelander as the Hodags came out on top by a score of 56 to 30. Rhinelander jumped into an early lead, holding the lead to the end of the game. Russ Dunne led the Papermakers with 12 points and Verage was high for Rhinelander with 17. DECEMBER 2: Nekoosa 45, Mosinee 29 Cnon-confer- encej - Nekoosa High school won its first basketball game of the season by trouncing a weak Mosinee five. 43 to 29. Nekoosa took the lead early in the game and Mosinee was never able to catch up. Femling lead the scoring for Nekoosa with eleven points.
