The 1963 Warrior Staff is very proud to dedicate this edition of the Hamilton Warrior to Mr. Gene R. Allen. Since February, 1956, he has taught 8th and 9th grade Science and been in charge of the Science Fair each spring. He has devoted many outside hours to field trips and various science clubs. He attended Santa Barbara, UCLA, and State colleges. ln recognition of his services to the students and school, we, the Journalism class and 9th grade, offer our sincere congratula- tions to a wonderful and deserving person. DEDICATION We the Journalism class, on behalf of the Hamilton Junior High students and faculty, wish to dedicate this 1963 edition of the Warrior to Miss Yvonne Borisch. Miss Borisch has been at Hamilton for three years, teaching History, English, and Journalism. She graduated from Mount Mary College in Wisconsin, and taught in that state before coming lhere. Miss Borisch has gone far beyond her regular duties in the supervision of putting out the Hurricane and Warrior, and spends many after-school hours working out new ideas for their betterment. Dedicating this annual to her is our way of letting her know how much we appreciate what she has done for the students of Hamilton. 2
