Class Poem With apologies to Richard Hovey With a steady swing and an open brow We have studied our lessons together But we ’re clasping hands at the cross- roads NOW In a friendly way together; And whether we succeed or whether we fail In the places that lie before us, The ways of Life tell many a tale And the hand of Fate is o’er us.
