I, A g , , 'Q ff A we This is Mr. James Warlickis first year as superintendent of the Aledo ISD. He has had a wide background of education. The colleges he at- tended were: NTSU graduating with a BS in scienceg Southwest State graduating with a Master of Education Certificate and a Prin- ' cipal's Certificate, Tarleton State 'f--f University graduating with a superintendentis certificate. Before coming to Aledo, he spent 3 years at Arlington, 1 year at Gatesville, 2 years at Luling, 4 years at Clifton, 1 year at Santo, and 4 years at Midland. Among some of his special in- terests are hunting, fishing, watch- ing athletic programs, and collec- ting ducks. For twenty-five of those years, he has served as the principal of the high school. Before becoming principal, he taught mathematics. Incorporating a high standard for the students at Aledo has been a goal that Mr. Glenn has accomplished with pride, as well as keeping open lines of communication between faculty and students and maintaining high levels of academic excellence. Mr. Glenn received his Bachelor's Degree from Texas Weslysan, and he completed his work for a Master's Degree at Texas Christian University and North Texas State University. Vice-Principal James Scott began his teaching career at Aledo in 1976 as a history teacher and coach. In 1983 Mr. Scott became the first vice-principal at Aledo. He says that he enjoys his work very much and that his favorite part is working with the faculty and student body. Mr. Scott completed his BS degree at East Texas State University and his Master's of Education Administration and Mid-level Management at Texas Christian University. Counselor This is Linda Hoffer,s first year at Aledo. She is the counselor for Grades K-12. She feels that this is a very large undertaking but that it is well-worth her time. Mrs. Hoffer brings a great deal of en- thusiasm and a fresh ap- proach to the counseling position. Mrs. Hoffer has a B.A. in French and English from TCU and a M.Ed. in Ed. Psychology from UT at Austin. H.S. Administration 93
