The Aledo Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America is the fastest growing club on campus. This year there are fifty-nine members. FBLA holds monthly meetings and normally is involved in some type of project. In October the meeting was at the Old Spaghetti Warehouse for the installation of officers. Also, in October the FBLA members were involved in selling lace picture frames for one of their money-making projects. In November they sold Canisters 'n Corn. The money from the fund-raisers is used for chapter operating expenses and for the state leadership conference. Another activity was the creation of Free Enterprise appreciation notices which were included in all December statements from the Aledo State Bank. The service project for the year began in March which consisted of making buttons for pre-school children in case they are lost. The Outstanding Project Report, written mainly by Michel Ingram, describing the chapter's fingerprinting project won first at district and state and fifth place tout of over 100 reportsj at the national level. Members attended the area workshop in October and the state conference in March. The motto HGetting Involvedii truly fits the organization. I hear Congratulations are in order!
