The HSelect Choiri' began in August when auditions for this group were held. The Select Choir is now the performing choir and per- formed at many events including UIL contest, the TCJC Choir Festival fthe only 3A choir invitedj and several Christmas programs. The choir held the Second Annual Choir Follies which consist of individual and group performances in a variety of talent divisions plus choral group selections. Also, the choir produced a mini-musical for the first time this year. The choir conducted a very successful selling campaign to help defer the expenses for some of their performances. The choir has many talented members among them Crystal Shankel who received a one hundred dollar award to apply to the college of her choice and Jamie Deal who was selected to the All-District Choir. The senior members sang at the Senior pep rally and at Baccalaureate. The choir members work very hard and spend several months preparing for each of their special performances.
