This year the Middle School Band was arranged a little differently. Each grade had band a different period. In the past the Sixth grade had one class and the Seventh and Eighth grade had another one. Although the Seventh and Eighth grade hands didnlt prac- tice together, you couldn't tell the dif- ference when they played at the Mid- dle School Pep Rallies. The hands are planning on attend- ing the UIL Contest in the Spring. They also plan on going to Sandy Lake in Dallas for a festival. Not only are they working toward these goals, they are also having fund raisers, along with the High School Band, to raise money for their trips and the High School Band's Spring trip. So you can see band is not all fun and play. The members have to work very hard to do the things they do, especially Mr. Anderson! They really appreciated all the support they Twirlers J , Th A d D received from everyone this year, and Hnlle OIHPSOH, nlafl 8 BITIYOH hope to see even more in the future! 18 Bth Grade Band
