The club sponsored a party for the foreign language class at Fun Factory Pizza and participated in the Foreign Lan- guage Fair and International Banquet with the other clubs. They also attended the French Symposium in Austin. Selling foreign candy and baked goods helped pay for a French Club Scholarship that was given to Ricky Huerta. German Club The goal for the German club was to grow this year, and they accomplished it. The German club doubled in size. One of the activities was to make traditional German advent wreaths. They also had a guest speaker who spoke about Germany during,World War Il. They participated in the Foreign Language Fair and International Ban- quet and ended the year with a ban- quet at Bavarian Gardens. din
