In the early part of the season, the team lost Olsen, a sophomore, due to a knee injury, but this position was filled by Harms, the only junior on the team. The five remaining players: Catlin,Pinge1,0rpin,Skou, and Maury are all seniors and former letter winners. The county tournament went their way in the first round by a victory over Ackley, but the girls were nosed out by Owasa in the semi finals. The sectional tournament at Hampton also started with a bang and the team left Dows with the short end of the score. However, in the semi final round the girls were defeated by the strong Hansell State Champion Team. 50 .
