Row 2- Mrs. Horst, Paige Gubbrud, Shelly Feekes, Gretchen Gubbrud, Kristi Nygard, Kandy Kratochvil. Renee Bouthillier, Lisa Peterson, Miss Ites, Mrs. Larsen. Row 3- Jolene Osterkamp. Troy Long. Row 4- Robert Kezar, Mike Embrock, Mike Seivert, Joe VanBal- legooyen, Kate Buum, Karla Schumacher, Matt Newberg, Aaron Johnson, Jeremy Solberg, Jill Lundberg. Back row- Mary Scott, Todd Chance, Kristin Seivert, Renee Ludwig, Craig Treiber, Aaron Brown. Conrad gets a little carried away! The musical-comedy, Bye, Bye Birdie, was presented April 15 and 16 by twenty-nine high school stu- dents. After many weeks of hard practices, the cast was able to per- form a very memorable show which was enjoyed by all. Leading men and women were Joe VanBalle- gooyen as Albert, Kate Buum as Ro- sie, Jolene Osterkamp as Kim, and Matt Newberg as Conrad. Directors were Mrs. Horst and Mrs. Connie Lar- sen, with Ginger Waddell and Miss Ites as accompanists. 14 Sweet Apple teens take pledges for Conrad Birdie Telethon??? Class Of '88 Departs With Many Memories ft uie have grown together toward this moment; now we depart as better individuals because of the experiences we've shared The Class of '88 unites as one a final time. The moment the Class of '88 had been building towards for thirteen years arrived on May 29 as the twenty-six class members became alumni. With the stage decorated in the class colors of burgundy and silver, the senior speakers, Salutatori- an Jill Lundberg. Co-Valedictorians Gretchen Lutt- mann and Kim Rogness, and Kristin Seivert, talked of the many memories and events leading up to Com- mencement, along with hopes of the future. Principal Jerry Joachim presented the class as School Board President Jerry Kratochvil awarded the diplomas. As the Class of '88 said their final goodbyes, they knew the memories they have will never fade. The Senior Choir sang Something Special”. We have grown together towards this mo- ment; now, we depart as better individuals because of the experiences we've shared. -Class of '88 Jason Harlow Johnson receives his diplo- ma!!!
