This year the Alcester FFA Chapter was involved in many activities. They helped rebuild the inside of the fire station for their BOSDC grant. They also sent four members to the National FFA Convention. Carl Treiber and Brad Johnson participated in the showmanship con- test. Terry Warner and Carl Johnson were the other delegates who attended from Alcester. One member, Tina Vanderham, participated at the State Leadership Contest in the job interview section. They sent 12 members to the State Convention. The FFA Chapter had a very successful year. Many of the members went to the Region meeting and they participated at the State meeting. The end of the year was celebrated by having a picnic at Newton Hills!

GAL Club Keeps Busy The GAL club, made up of all letter winners, had various projects throughout the year to raise money to pay off the dryers in the girls locker room. In charge of the GAL club again this year was Mrs. Johannsen. Some projects included selling soap insurance in October and a car wash in May. All in all, GAL club had a good year.
