PEP CLUB ADDS LETTERING SYSTEM A new aspect was added to the Pep Club this year. It was made possible to letter and earn a pin at the end of the year by earning enough points. Each sporting event was worth a certain number of points toward a member’s pin is they attended. This helped to bring attendance up, and the spectators had an added incentive to cheer the team on to victory. The cheerleaders really appreciated having such an enthusiastic crowd to work with. Mrs. Johannsen guided them throughout the year by serving as the Pep Club’s advisor. Above - Student Librarian M. B. Newberg LIBRARIAN ASSISTS STUDENTS This year there was only one student librarian, Mary Beth Newberg, to help Mrs. McKellips locate books and magazines for students during their study halls.
