Prom This One’s For You This year’s Junior-Senior Prom was held May 1. The auditorium, which the Juniors decorated, was bright, colorful, and full of rainbows, which were all part of the theme “This One’s For You’’. Keith Lapour, Junior Class President, introduced and welcomed the Seniors to their last Prom. An invo- cation, sung by Mr. Alan Hall, preceded the deli- cious meal. Matt Onnen and Wayne Johnson then read the Senior Class history, and Shane McClara and Patti Hammitt read the Senior Class proph- ecy. After the waiters and waitresses presented a skit and a song, Mr. Craig Walz, the guest speaker, reminisced about the Seniors’ sixth grade year. The Juniors girls were last on the program and sang the theme song. The dance following the banquet was provided by the music from the D.J. Associates. After the dance, the movie, “Return of Elvis” was shown in the basement of the auditorium. Immediately following the movie, the Junior’s parents served a breakfast which ended the prom festivities. The 1982 Prom was a night that both the Seniors and Juniors will remember. Above-Junior Class President, Keith Lapour, welcomes the Seniors.
