The 1981 Cubette Staff The Cubette staff not only worked hard on meeting their deadlines but also participated in raising funds for producing the yearbook. One of the main fund-raisers was a Sadie-Haw- kins Dance held in the fall. The staff, led by Susan Heiman and advised by Mr. Alan Hall, put in many long hours in the hopes that this book will recapture those special “Photographs and Memories” of that special year. .1981. FHA Adopts New Advisor Mrs. Christi Larsen joined the teaching staff this year with one of her duties being the FHA Advisor, Another addition was Alcester’s first male member, Terry Kelley. Led by President Lisa Gross, the activities held this year were Dad’s Night Out, Mother’s Banquet, and the usual FHA Week. Some of the members attended the Regional and State Conventions. The year came to an end with deserving members hav- ing the chance to eat out and by cele- brating their last meeting with a game of volleyball and home-made ice cream. Mr. Andersen advised A-Club; their major activity was selling soap insurance to merchants, farmers, and students. Miss Lund supervised the GAL Club, who sold blue and gold Alcester Cub hats. Both clubs attended the Lions Athletic Banquet in the spring. Both of these clubs put forth fine effort to promote the sports programs at Alcester High.
