Drama Succeeds The third year of drama was a year of experience and fun for the drama class. With a few pointers from Mrs. Rozell, two one act plays and a single 3 Act play were presented. O'Henry's The Brief Debut of Tildy and The Furnished Room were presented in the fall, while The Phantom Bells was attempted later in the year. Two performances were given March 22 and 23. Love was in the air and on every street corner as six girls from America toured Paris. Some problems came up, which were handled with a French flair, and the girls went home with memories of many friendships made.

Island Paradise Sets Scene For Prom The Junior-Senior Prom was held on May 5th at the Alcester Auditorium. The juniors spent the week before, decorating to the theme of 1'Island Paradise. Palm trees and flowers set the scene for the banquet. junior girls and the waiters and waitresses entertained the seniors with musical selections. The senior class history and prophecy were read, much to some people's embarrassment. A dance to the music of Revolution , midnight bowling at the Village Bowl, and a breakfast prepared and served by parents of juniors rounded out the festivities. Many memories were created and will be held for years to come. Top left-The Juniors entertained the Seniors with 11 Island Paradise'' Top right-Audrey and Brenda take time out to pose for a picture on the swing. Middle right-Junior boys relax and enjoy the dance Lower left-A helping hand never hurts.
