Memories Were Sparked Memories of the last four years filled the minds of seniors as they attended ’’Moments to Remember”--Spirit of '76, on May 1, 1976. A delicious meal of chicken, ham, longjohn potatoes, corn and Rainbow sher- bet was served by the Village Bowl. The Program was opened by Evelynn Dunlap, Mistress of Ceremonies giving the Welcome and the acceptance was given by Doyle Barnes. Lori Johnson sang a solo as the Junior Class entertainment. The waiter and waitresses performed many amusing numbers to go along with the prom theme and the class history. prophecy and will were read. Cocoon played for the dance after the banquet from 9:00 till 12:00. After which the students drove up to Canton to see the movie Let’s Do It Again.” After a long, but enjoyable, night, everyone met back in Alcester for a breakfast of pan- cakes and sausages. The Junior Class put a lot of hard work and time into the plans and decora- tions and helped make it a special Junior- Senior Prom that we will always remem- ber. 28 Above: 1st Row-Gail Jacob, Pam Briggle, Diana Zingler, Ruth Hultgren, Heather Luck. 2nd Row-Mike Lappegard, Bryan Crawford, John Bergdale, Randy Ronning, Mike Zingler.
