Point System Used As with many other organizations and clubs this year, the High School Band has set up a point system for lettering. A Band Council consisting of one member from each of the grades 8-12 decided on the number of points to be received for each performance. It was decided it would take 16 points to letter. The 49 member band gave a total of 10 performances this year, which includes 4 concerts, marching at Hobo Day, Da- kota Days and the Tulip Festival at Orange City. The band also performed at the Veteran's and Memorial Day services and played several numbers at Commence- ment. 23
