They are pictured at left correcting and typing copies in preparation for print- ing. They also assign stories to the reportial staff members, proof-read and prepare the dummy copy for each edition. At lower left they are assisting printer Harrison Heath in making up the chase. School activities, classwork, and parties are re- ported by the members of the Dakota editorial staff. The Dakota is published each month. Each member is assigned a certain story on which to report. All stories written are proof read by the editors. Depart- ments of the Dakota include the general news con- cerning school activities, the feature columns, and the sports section. Club reporters are appointed to provide informa- tion on what occurs in the various organizations such as chorus, band, and PTA. Continual reports are also made of classwork activities. 28
