SECOND ROW L Martln R Aller flnsetl On August 25 we junlors came to school to frnd that we had two new teachers Mrs Wllllams was to teach musrc and English and Mr Vanderhoff was to instruct the boys rn manual trarnlng It didn t take us too long to get used to our new subjects srnce we were already well acquamted with our two other teachers Mr Bohr who taught sociology and Mr Lash who taught us Unrted States hrstory We were very pleased when our class nngs arrrved the first part of September ln October we ordered our play whrch was entitled Three Days of Grace We had quite a time frnd- xng a good non royalty play but we finally made our decrsron after lo okrng through several books As the dates October 9 and 10 drew nearer each of us was becomrng a lrttle fnghtened Finally the blg nrght arrrved and the play was grven with a long sngh of relref After the excitement of the play school seemed rather dull but when the basketball season started trme moved a lrttle faster again Thrs year we had Lanny Ray Edward Kenny Robert and Ernest on the basketball squad Everett was our manager The gurls who partncnpated rn basketball were Mary Lou Barbara and Thelma We were also happy to have Nancy as one of our cheerleaders The jumor class drd a lot of work on the Tauler and the Pzruteer thxs year, gaming some valuable experrence Many of the junrors also partxcrpated rn musical groups mclndmg mixed chorus sextet, trro, octette and both grrls and boys quartets Our class offrcers thus year were as follows PfCSldCnl 0 c s e s e 1 u e e c e Nancy Hense Secreauy ' ' ' ' ' ' C1359 Vsce-Preszdent. . . . . . .
