The expert care of guns IS one the essentlals MILITARY SCIENCE Military Science IS a class that teaches the students about life in our army They spend many hours drilling for the perfect march mg technique and are taught the proper way to perform the manual at arms They learn offensive and defens1ve methods of fighting Other valuable information offered IS map reading and first aid The Drill Squad IS a special d1v1s1on of the Military Science classes This group performs at various school activities including football games and parades Another d1v1s1on IS the Rifle Squad This group of students trains with 22 caliber rifles and try for expert marksmanship However this 1S not all for even more important they are taught correct use of the gun and the proper way to care for it All the boys know the advantage of this training and the future aid It will give when they serve 1n the different branches of the army Smith Gooch B A M A Shown below is a couple enjoying the R.O T C s biggest event of the yea the Military Ball.
