MISS KATHLEEN BROWN Faculty Advisor
DU
—who have been patient and understanding, even when you knew we were wrong, and have possessed perseverance which we ourselves were lacking
—who have led the 1954 Senior Class through the bright days of triumph, and, yes, through the darkest days of trial and tribulation
—who have never refused to hesitate as you worked, to counsel one of your students who had become confused or despondent, and to give him your cheerful outlook upon life and strength with which to hurdle any problem —who have carried through the years a Christian philosophy of life, and have based your every act and thought upon the Golden Rule
—-who have contributed to our school all good and fine you had to offer
—who have made us love you, and be honored to claim you as our own.
To you—-MISS EUNICE BOONE-—we. the seniors of 1954,
humbly and sincerely dedicate the 1954 MOUNTAINEER.I
TO THE SENIOR CLASS OF 1954, STUDENTS OF ALBERTVILLE HIGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY
Your school days have contributed to your development in many ways. Your strength of character, your personality, and your standards of good citizenship are determined in a large measure by what you learn and what you do in school. The Moral and Spiritual development has always been a major purpose of this school. We know that mere knowledge or skills will not produce good character. Your school is one of the vital influences in making of your life. Your home, family, church, and community organizations are powerful influences. They work together to make you a self-reliant cooperative member of your community.
I recommend that you continue your development, keeping as your goal the high ideals which are pictured for you in this your 1954 MOUNTAINEER.
