Each junior Rotarian attends the meetings in his assigned month and informs the Rotary Club ol' the progress in his particular field. Rotarians representing the dillerent lieltls are: Paul Skophammer, Stutlent Council: Donald 'l'homp- son, Senior Class: William Kuchera, Music, Lowell Barr, Dramatics: Henry Ruble, Agriculture, John Babey, Shop: Roger Naylor, Qlournalismg and James Eugen, Honor Society. Peter Veldman and Richard Creengo represented the school in athletics. 'l'he American Legion awards were given to the senior boy and girl having outstanding qualities ol' courage, scholarship, honor and service. Reliable Seniors Complete Final Year The year lEl5l brings to a close three eventful years in the Albert Lea Senior High School for the graduating senior students. During their sophomore year. this class had as its oilicers: Aleanne Cady, president: Margaret Thompson, vice president: Nadiene Dale, secretary: and Marilyn Hendrickson. treasurer. The sophomore class party and Sadie Hawkins' Day dance, which the sophomores sponsored, highlighted all the events ol' that year. Adviser lor the class was Miss Alice Ganunell. As juniors, the niain event ol' the year was the lliunior-Senior banquet and proin. The thetne ol this gala event was Drean1er's Holiday with Miss Blanche Benson advising theni as she did throughout the year. A pie social helped to linance the proni and banquet. Finding themselves with the titles ol' the superior seniors, the group took charge ol' responsibilities which are designated to the students. An active participation in school activities was an outstanding characteristic oi' this class. Heading the seniors were their class ollicers: Don- ald H. Thonipson, president: Peter Veldnian. vice president: Caroline Machaeek. secretary: and LeRoy Van Proosdy. treasurer. Mr. Iigil Hovey acted as ad- viser as the seniors advanced through the year. The Daughter ol' American Revolution award for l95l was presented to Nadiene Dale. This award sig- nifies that she is the niost outstanding citizen ol' Albert Lea High School.
