JUNIOR CLASS
Q
We, the Passengers ot the Pullman Cars, have enjoyed our
trip thus far and are nearing the end of our journey. This
past year, led by Clif? King, our president, we started the year
oft with much enthusiasm by sponsoring several sock hops and
candy sales to raise money for our Junior-Senior Prom. We
presented a successful class assembly about the life of Mr.
Czech, Later in the year we gave our class play. Also we
worked hard planning the Junior-Senior Prom, We are now
ready to travel on as Seniors on the train "Whirlvvind."

SENIOR CLASS ASSEMBLY

and Terry Mclfechnie
"STRANGE LADY IN TOWN"
The Senior Class assembly was a musical comedy take-ot?
on the old style westerns which are so popular on T.V.
and in the movies.
The main characters were Suzy, the daughter ot a de-
ceased miner and the possessor ot a map leading to a
gold mine, the villain, Jet Masters, who tried to outwit
little Suzy in an attempt to steal her map, and Harold
Hero, the young man who rescued Suzy from the villain's
grasps.
The plot centered around little Suzy, who had come out
West in search ot her late tather's gold mine. The pro-
blems which she met when she arrived in the western town
of Dodge City proved to be interesting as well as very
humorous. Along with the play live entertainment
was provided by ditterent members of the senior class
Several sang some square danced and others by their
hilarious bit of acting helped make the assembly a great
success
The assembly was under the very able direction ofthe three
class advisors Gretchen Walker Walter Nupen and James
Luster
