WORDS OF WISDOM
Yours Is an age of guided missies, satellites, floating space ships, airways, and atomic power. Today this is your world; but so rapidly does the world change that it may be that before the start of the next school year there will be new and startling discoveries that will bring major changes in your daily living.
SECRETARY
This is an age in which science plays a very important role. This is the reason that it is very important that young people prepare themselves with a fundamental knowledge of things that are scientific in nature. We must continue to learn so we can adapt ourselves to new products and methods of living. One-fourth of all the advertisements in Life magazine are of products developed within the last ten years. So rapidly has the world changed since your parents went to school, that it is now estimated that there are fifty million adult Americans attending school to keep up with the world in which they live and to keep up with the knowledge necessary for them to hold their Jobs.
We must remember that education is a continuous process throughout our lives.JOAN SHOWERS

On May 8, 1959, the Junior Class of Albany High School presented their prom, "Tulips at Dusk."
At 9:30 p.m. King Roger and Queen Kathy led the grand march to the music of Norm Kingsley and his orchestra.
The gym was beautifully decorated around a Dutch theme. The sides were done in yellow and white crepe paper.
A sky effect was produced by using blue crepe paper with silver stars on the ceiling.
A lovely bed of tulips was placed below the stage with an old Dutch Mill on either side of it. It was a most successful prom.WE WORK?
