S-2 Division is tasked with the nearly twenty-four hour a day job of feeding a crew of 900 men as many as four meals per day, 365 days a year. The hard work and dedication of the cooks, bakers, other mess specialists, and messcooks, was particularly noticable with their preparation of an outstanding Thanksgiv- LUS Day dinner that will be long remembered for its quality and the enjoyable atmosphere in which it was erve . For the numerous personal services provided to ALBANY's crew from the retail stores to the laundry and dry cleaning plants to the gedunk',, we have the hard working members of S-3 Division to thank. . Whether underway, at home, or in a foreign port, our paydays come iight on schedule. Our disbursing office makes up S-4 Division, which also provides any financial assistance which may be needed. Food Service in the Wardroom and for the Captain, as well as a multitude of other officer service fGSponsibilities are expertly accomplished by members of S-5 Division.
