V Religious services, camaraderie, sports and just plain re- laxation fill up the vacuum which may sometimes take up resi- dence within us. The crow ' s nest and the hours of contempla- tion of yesteryear ' s whalers and clippers are gone. We spend our working hours alert; we hare to taper off gradually; these things provide us with our impetus to keep going, and as we go, to progress.
