WILL Ob this the twenty-third day of May, In the year of out Lord one thousand, nine hundred and fifty eight we. the Senior Class of Alamo High School 1957 53. on leaving this foggy hinterland of chalk dust and paper wads, do wish to show one last time that streak of goodness which 0« class has ever been noted for. hi a state of nervous frenzy, the class does hereby make these individual and collective bequests To Mr. Strange. We leave our undiluted gratitude. His faith in us (tho it win always be a mystery) has inspired us. So, in our own bumble way. we would like to improve our school. Thus we do hereby bequeath to the school--one large roll of adhesive tape so that if the Board of Edu- ts ever cracked or broken. U may be repaired immediately. To the Faculty, we leave them. (They are hysterically glad that we are leaving them, at last.) We would like to thank them for imposing heavy assignments on us. giving us the training which will no doubt some- day prove Invaluable to us. SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY At we were sneaking through the old haunted house one night we stumbled over something In the dark. We found that it was an old lamp. As we were rubbing the dust from our found treasure, a puff of smoke issued from it and to our surprise a voice spoke to us from the night. We were granted ooe wish, so we decided we would like to know what would happen to us and our class- mates in the next ten years after we graduate. Mike Hopper is with the Chicago Bean now. he’s the chief water boy. Don Hugne7“has invented a machine that bags and carries the groceries to the customers’ cars. The study of life isn't Wayne Boswell’s main strife. We all know he'll be looking for a wife. Jackie Perry, popular boy singer at A.H.S.. is the feature attraction of Spike Jones’ band, which will be changed to Spike Perry’s band. Susie Hollamon has top billing. She’s with the American Rodeo Associa- tion. and has a thrilling act. bare back riding. Jel nJ ce and johr DiUion are still in Alamo and are members of the high school faculty. Helen teaches shorthand, her favorite subject, and John teaches History. We saw ourselves attending a banquet. Parry Johnson, we saw you in front of a swanky apartment as a sweeping member of the sanitation department. Sammy Kee just says. “I'm still here in AUmo. doing as little as I can. 1 live by myself-never had no use for Wimmen. Just work and wine. Ann Duncan has married and has 15 kids. She'll auction them off to the highest bio. Bobby Holden is manager of the McKelUr Airport in Jackson. Jean Cox is his secretary. Joan Cox is working at Truex Chevrolet.
