SENIOR CLASS M, . S PROPHECY Q C. The other night I had the strangest dream. I dreamed I saw all of my classmates as they were ten years from now. The first person I saw was John Conyers. He is a famous musician now. He is known as a second Li'berace. Goldsmith's has opened a store 'in Alamo. The manager is Rosa- lie Follis. Betty Bushart is assis- :ant manager. They received their training in Ronk's Variety Store. .Iimmy Mansfield holds a respon- sible position in this store, also. He is the janitor! Well, I see Quincy has finally placed itself on the map. Here are located the wealthy planta- tions of Wayne Hopper and Lloyd Speer. One of Alamo's most sought af- ter bachelors is Robert Cates, who now has a beauty salon in Alamo. One of his employees is none oth- er than Betty Cooke. I see Wayne Forsythe has lived up to his high school reputation of dare-devil on wheels. He now delivers groceries on a bicycle. Jerry Griffin and Bobby Curtis are now known as the top comedy team on television. Next, I seem to see a large es- tate and, yes, there is Pat Prath- YOUR LUCKY DAYS AND YOUR LUCKY NUMBERS PROPHECY or with maids all around her. The' only trouble is she's one of them. Ann Coltrain has gone into busi- ness with her mother, and they now have the largest florist shop in West Tennessee. Charles Warren and Ray Mc- Cord have answered their coun- try's call. They now peel pota- toes in an Army mess hall. Due to his outstand- ing ability he was given the task of building a 'bridge across Cy- press Creek. Mitchell Warren has the most appealing job of all. He is now a Beauty-Rest mattress tester. Danny Skipper is a teacher in one of the nation's largest colleg- es. Bob Davis followed the advice of his Vocational Preference Test. He is now a cowboy on a large ranch out West. Jimmy Young and Frances Ward followed Bob out West. They both work in a saloon. Jimmy is the bartender and it seems that Frances does some sort of 'bubble dance. Jackie Acor's fan club 'has grown to enormous proportions, as he is known around Hollywood as a second Rock Hudson. Jewell Sue Laman is now head nurse at the Methodist -Hospital in Memphis. Bruce Avery and Jimmy Webb are both well-known doctors. Bruce has improved on the Salk polio vaccine and Jimmy is an eminent surgeon. The scene now shifts back to Alamo. I see that Malcom Gean now owns and operates the Texa- co garage. His chief mechanic is Charles Harbor, who got his ex- perience on the D. E. job. Danny Reasons now owns and operates t'he U-Tote-Em store in Alamo. His glamerous cashier is Mitzie Skelton. The scene now moves to Alamo Hiffh School.
