It is easy to talk a great yearbook, but getting the words and pictures on the pages and finally between the covers is a difficult task. The 1953 Fort staff has met this test through team work and effort. The words and pictures of tlie'53 Fort attest this fact. For every picture, word, effort, hour of work, advertisement and for the enthusiasm of every member of the staff and the Senior Class, I am grateful. My appreciation is extended to Mr. Lemond, your advisor, who has worked untiringly to give us a book that we will cherish during the years ahead. The spirit of Alamo School is one of the rewards which is dear to me as I work with our student body. This spirit is one of cooperation, never say quit, and of recognition of the values that make a good school. I surely enjoy my bit in the activity of our daily school program and I am proud of this book that tells a part of the story of our efforts together. o-v A-W-
