... be Different “They've gotten involved,’’ complimented Principal Dr. Gretchen Wheelwright. Certain- ly the faculty and students have given their best to AHS whether it was correcting exam papers or planning Spirit week. : According to Administrative Vice-Principal Milt Werner, the students had a tremendous ability. They took advantage of every new opportunity open to them in the AP, music, and athletic programs. One could see fundraising for trips and expenses. The faculty was strong in content and consisted of a diversified and creative staff. Teachers stimulated the students’ minds and helped them perform skits in Spanish and French, argue against the tradiational voting process, and measure the acceleration of rollercoasters. . ‘Most teachers were willing to put in extra time to help students,”’ said Wheelwright.
