In junior high it was going to the school cafeteria for a hot tray, in high school it was enjoying the many nourishment opportunities on Park Street. JD’s Bagel Bar, New York Pizza, Pam- pered Pup, and Yogurt Plus, were a few of the most frequently visited places. Fortunately, Alameda High School is located in the main business district. It enabled more and more students to go Bagel and Cream Cheese please - Lisa Ayomana and Gretchen Skillman enjoy a bagel at J.D.’s. “T usually bough rt at the corner store. It’s light and it was easier than bringing a lunch,” said Cindy Bookspan. Most people, bought or brought their lunch, ended up gathering on the green space. Various activities such as rallies, class competition, and socializing all took place there. Musical enter- tainment was provided by Jason Gard and friends. When you could do silly things and nobody thought you were weird! Trick or Treat, Hallow- een. Around AHS people were bies, cowboys and girls, bum- le bees, etc... Ms fun and exciting aay was on a Friday this year with a spirited atmosphere that made the day worth while. There was even a Halloween dance that night. Senior Erin Linager who dressed as a space cadett said, “Halloween is a good day for us to show our spirit and how live Alameda is!” We’re in the Army now!-Malick Aborashid and Todd Jones are ready to enlist.
