JEAN NOLAN As part of the Vocational Act of 1963 the Business Depart- ment installed a new stenography lab with 24 student stations and a console capable of handling four channels of dictation at different speeds. Through the United California Bank of San Francisco, four bookkeeping machines were installed in the machine calcula- tion lab and were used at the beginning of the second semester. The office practice lab added a new unit this year, office automation. It is for further training students to take their place in the modern world of business. MRS.
