The board’s immediate function is to approve the school budget, and to approve payments of A. S. A. H. S. bills. It further has the power to initiate amendments to the A. S. A. H. S. constitu- tion if an amendment is needed. The Vice President’s office was capably filled by Jeanne Kyriacos who gave genuine codperation to students and faculty. Recording Secre- tary Bill Wirt conscientiously fulfilled the duties of his office. Financial Secretary Ray McMullin worked hard on student cards, and was successful in adding several new Stu- dent Card rates to the list of benefits derived by members. As this goes to press, the student body is approaching the 100 per cent mark again. The students expressed their confidence in Yell Leader Bill Schacht by returning him to the office for a second term. His spirit, versatility, and excellent voice added immeasurably to the student meetings. The administration’s main objective was to secure bigger and better student meetings. This goal was attained through the efforts of the administration and the student faculty committee. Among the outstanding meetings were the singers from the Savoy Opera Company of San Francisco, the student talent program, and Jack McDermott, the master of the marimba. Thanks are hereby given to the Ad-Board, to both Men’s and Women’s Boards of Con- trol, to the Student-Faculty Committee, and to the other organizations and commitees for the kind help given us. Without their ready and willing assistance the term could not have been a success. The administration also thanks each and every member of the student body for his fine codperation. The function of this group is to act in a policy-forming, advisory capacity and assist the administration with securing student meetings. The members are the student body officers, the presidents of Girls’ Association and Men’s Association, the Chief Counselors of Men’s and Women’s Boards of Control, presi- dent of Girls’ Athletic Association, the speaker of the Ad Board, and one Ad Board appointee.
