Last Will and Testament We, the Senior class of Alamance High School, in the year nineteen hundred and fifty-five, being of sound mind and strong body, having attained ample knowledge to graduate and take up the toil and hardships of what may come before us, do hereby set pen to this document. ARTICLE I TO THE FACULTY: FIRST: To our beloved principal, Mr. Wliiteley, we leave our thanks and appreciation for the past years of guidance. We also bequeath a genuine hand-made paddle auto- graphed by each member of the Senior Class. SECOND: To our English teacher and Senior Class Advisor, Miss jackson, we leave our love and gratitude for her patient understanding and leadership during our high school days. We also leave a dating two piece bathing suit so she may dazzle those tall, dark, and handsome bachelors in Hawaii. THIRD: To our science teacher and coach, Mr. Upstill, we leave a new formula, com- plete with instructions, for making hydrogen to replace the old one he used when he blew up the hydrogen burner. We hope the new formula makes hydrogen instead of a bomb. FOURTH: To our math and history teacher, Mr. Henry, we leave a tooth brush so he may keep that Liberace smile. We also leave him a new pair of chartreuse socks to replace the ones we so admired this past year. FIFTH: To our Home Economics teacher and junior class advisor, Mrs. Farrell, we leave our thanks for helping make our junior year a happy one. We also leave her a book on How to Make Money so she may continue to make other junior classes as successful as ours. SIXTH: To our business education teacher, Mrs. Hunt, we leave a ruler so she may be able to teach her next year's bookkeeping class to draw a straight line. ARTICLE II . We, the Seniors of Alamance School, have accumulated a few priceless articles throughout our 12 years in school, and wish to distribute them among the oncoming seniors. FIRST: June Kivett leaves one of her funniest jokes to jerry Montgomery. Jerry, we hope you can wait till after class to tell your jokes, june never could. She also leaves to Doug Smith the pin-ups that were left to her last year. Doug, june thought you'd find them more interesting than she did. SECOND: Lee Snider leaves a bottle of growing pills to Burnice Shoffner. Burnice, we hope they don't affect you the same way they did Lee. THIRD: Catherine Hackett leaves some of her red hair to Donnie Wray in case he loses some of his next year trying to be a senior. She also leaves one of her tall tales to Larry Kivett. Larry, if you ever get in trouble just use this for an excuse and we're sure you'll get into more trouble. ' FOURTH: Bobby Wyrick leaves his bus to Randy Johnson. He also leaves him a five- gallon can and a siphon hose for him to play with in the sand pile. Of course, Bobby never used them for anything else.
