The High School teachers acted as chaperones. s di The afternoon was spent rollerskating and joyriding. The last did not g I prove so enjoyable due to the fact that while two couples were joy-riding, E 5 they got stuck quite a ways from camp. Luckily they had part of the lunch s s with them, and they made good use of it. They returned in time to get in on 5 I the hot dogs and lemonade. The mosquitoes were thick, but the picnic proved f I a success and everyone left for home at seven. Q ' I I 4 at at an s I 4 I I I I I 1 JUNIOR PICNIC I . . . . I I The juniors overwhelmed with enthusiasm, decided to have a picnic on Q E the twenty-eighth day of October. About twenty gangsters , sponsored I s by Miss Green, left for Sargent's Lake at four o'clock. After arriving there, Q s the girls sought amusement on the lake-front, while the boys gathered wood I I for the fire. E g The crackling of the fire soon announced that the weiners were ready to s 5 be roasted. Everyone enpoyed a delicious supper, namely hot dogs and pop, Q I supplemented by marshmallows as a desert. , g g After supper, the rest of the evening was spent sitting around the bonfire, E 5 singing songs and telling stories. At seven o'clock, everyone left for home 5 H with a few exceptions who went for a short joy-ride. The picnic proved to be A s I a fine day of adventure and sport. 4 I I I I I as at .sv I 5 I 4 , I 4 I I JUNIOR-SENIOR PARTY I I I I A Junior-Senior Halloween Party was given at the home of Fahy : E Replogle on November the first. The house was very artistically decorated g I with Halloween colors black cats owls witches and um Jk' s I ' , ., . , , , P 1 IH . i I The evening was pleasantly spent playing various games. Miss Galman 5 g and Jack played a very heady game of Bridge with Miss Paden and Don, but I g Miss Galman completely lost her head when she played Animal Game. She : g also lost out on the Poker game. Ora and Billie proved to be the Poker g 4 sharks. I I There were a few unexpected visitors on the front porch, but they soon E s learned that they were not invited. E s Lunch was served at twelve o'clock and the Orchesra played while the 5 : witches and ghosts strutted their stuff.
