At right is Linda Earl in her father ' s music shop. Every junior class has had the " privilege " of working in the canteen. Above are three junior fellows getting ready for a basketball game. Even though the team did not win all their games, the Flyers did not lose any of their loyal fans. With every- body behind them, the Flyers travel- ed to Warsaw to win the sectional. The following weekend took them to Elkart where they were defeated by Elkart Central, who later became the Regional Champs. On the oppoiste page are some of the stars on the team in action. The starting five were always quick to give credit to all the team members, rather than taking all the glory them- selves. Mr. Bob DuBois coaches the B-Team. GARRY WRIGHT D. T. J. T. R. W. P. W. S. W. This page is dedicated to those people who have made this yearbook a success. To Miss Baker, our sponsor, we offer a big thank you and sincere wishes of good luck in her future. I want to thank the entire annual staff for their time and effort in compiling this book of memories. We also wish to thank Cox Studio and Terry Klondaris for their efficient service. This was the last year for Akron High School. The year was filled with many sentimental moments. Among the outstanding moments were the Seniors winning the king, queen and the competitions at Homecoming. " Flyer Power " won the sectional! Scott and Rene ' will be remembered as the immortal Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle. The prom and graduation were the grand finale. Well, enough of reminiscing. The picture shows that the sun is shining and is welcoming a new day. 1974 is behind us; ahead lies a new high school and a new school year. --Nila Earl, editor Compliments of: COX STUDIO Warsaw, Indiana «iwiiu». i iui !■ i , i . ■ !■ . . » » ' i i |in i n MtM i u.jj j t a wpaapfH 219-269-1641 WARSAW MOTORS INC 666 East Winona Avenue Warsaw, Indiana CHAMBERLIN PRODUCTS Akron, Indiana oR THE L £mT E sT V ALL THESE WEDDING NECESSITIES UNDER ONE ROOF! • WEDDING INVITATIONS • THANK YOU NOTES • SILVER CAKE KNIVES • NAPKINS • MATCHES • GOBLETS • GARTERS • SERVERS • BRIDE ' S BOOKS • LARGE SELECTION • REASONABLE PRICES V NEWS AKRON 893-4433 FOR ADVERTISING WITH AN IMPACT 893-4433 Compliments of: AKRON EXCHANGE STATE BANK Congratulations to the 1974 Seniors MILLER SONS LUMBER COMPANY Warsaw 267-3236 Silver Lake 352-2166 Pierceton 594-2117 FREEZER FRESH DAIRY BAR W Phone— 893-4813 jJEl v Corner of 14 114 Compliments of: HARRIS DRUGS Barney ' s Prescriptions— Drugs Men ' s and Women ' s apparel Hallmark Cards and Gifts O ' Brien Paint— Fountain Service Visit our Top Bottom shop on the second floor 267-2495 Eldon Rager— Lyle E.
