STUDENT COUNCIL
The Student Council is actually a stu-
dent governing body composed of
representatives of all of the classes,
chosen in the class elections each
spring. These students Work diligently
with the administration in order to
allow the student body more priv-
iledges and to provide a finer at-
mosphere for school functions.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
The members of National Honor Society are elected
by the faculty on outstanding qualities of leadership,
scholarship, character, and service. Each member
must maintain at least a 3.0 average each grading pe-
riod to remain in the society. Their main project of
the year is selling magazines. All of the proceeds
from these sales go into the scholarship fund. From
this fund, N.H.S. seniors who ask for a scholarship
and are approved by the faculty, are awarded S100
scholarships toward their college education.
