They discuss and plan things they want to do during the year. I To raise money, the club sold at the conces- sion stand at all football games, they had I their annual Bachelor and Sweetheart Dance, and sold calendars. Besides raising money, they had a Halloween dress-up par- I ty and a Christmas pizza party at the Pizza Hut just for fun! The club is sponsored by Ms. Stephanie Stock. AFS Q 'Q A 9 w w f ' Coming from New Zealand is Leza Cor- ban. Ajo High's fourth foreign exchange student. While in Ajo she is living with the Harry Hoppe family, who also hosted AHS's first foreign exchange student, Phillippe Monsonson. She likes Ajo and thinks the people are friendly and very supportive of AFS. Leza, also likes rock-n-roll music. MSM's,Mexican foods, and pizza crusts? At her school in Auckland she participat- ed in badmitton. and was a member of the Student Council and Drama Club. AFS is a world wide organization which promotes and improves understanding and peace around the world through it's student exchange program. The club's sponsor is Ms. Hatfield.
