Peppers, are people who support school activities by attend- ing athletic events. This year the Pep Club went to Mesa to support the girls team at Volleyball divisionals. The Pep Club meets every month to discuss ways to raise money. They had bake sales and sold ribbons for Homecoming. The Pep Club officers this year are Roxanna Lakey, President-, Pam Harrison, Vice President: Cheryl Blake, Secretary and Rhonda Lakey, Trea- surer. Mrs. Daisy Farmer is the club's sponser. Each year the Student Council selects a theme for the float competition and each class then depicts the theme In their float design This year s theme was Song Titles The Freshman took first place with their float and showed the other classes that indeed they were Too Hot to handle The Juniors Whip It was enough to push the So homores into a third place spot maybe they new something when they selected the song Headed for a Fall for their float The Senior class must have been psychic and were thinking about Parker when they selected the song We Are the Cham plons float as Parker spoi ed the Homecoming week with a I4 0 defeat of the A o R d in festivities was the crowning of the Royalty This years Homecoming Queen and Km was Terri Gonzales and Jimmy Dunlap The ueen and King attendents were Tammy Ivey and Rod Gil ham Other candidates were Dolly Sotelo Sal Santiago Sonya Olea and Mike Valdez By Barbara Miller Trisha Hernandez ' , - e Mach' e.
