W TAMMY CORLEY, SENIOR, l modeled a hot pink Mexican dress and white Roman sandals. --..,-'QAM-M if 1 Good Fashion Sense Every morning AHS stu- dents got out of bed ready to get dressed for school only to ask, What am I going to wear? This was the most important question asked by stu- dents. Students wore a va- riety of outfits. Some wore jeans and sweat- shirts, others wore blouses and skirts. Some- times mini-skirts or shorts were worn, but they had to reach the knee. Most students wore whatever suited them or fit their personalities, whether conservative or punk. SONYA GILCREASE, SENIOR displayed her tail at a pep rally. PATTY PEEBLES FLAUNTED her numerous metal bracelets. f X pp X t - l 10 Student Life l . s

The First Date The first date. What a night tMarel! The first date a person has is a very memorable exper- ience. lt is usually very nice, but sometimes di- sastrous. lt takes about 30 minutes for the new couple to decide what they want to do. They decide on a movie. Once inside, the boy puts his arm around the girl and is quietly chok- ing her. She is too em- barassed to sayl any- thing. After the movie, they go to the local McDonald's. This is a bad idea because they don't want to eat in front of each other. With stomachs growl- ing in fhunger, they both order Cokes. As all experienced daters know, McDonald's ends the first date. Now the couple is a two- some and can be seen together everywhere - walking to classes, going to football games or maybe even eating lunch together. As dat- ing couples know, a night out can some- times be very expen- sive. A lot of couples enjoyed staying home and watching movies on a VCR, and enjoying the company. MOLLIE HUNT AND Clay Campbell shared the events of their day. IILL SIMS AND Blaine Laughlin found other things to do in the lunchroom besides eating. 12 Student Life ,av
